Introducing our Number Plate Frame Reversing Camera with IR Night Vision

A reverse camera that is built in to a frame, designed to fit all standard UK and EU sized number plates. Supplied from one of the best manufacturers of cameras we have come across. Fitted with an Aspheric lens, which gives a very wide angle view, without the usual goldfish bowl effect found on similar models. Great day time and night time performance. Fast delivery, great service, and made to last equipment.

There are cheap cameras that look similar to this model, this camera is built to last, and to perform. The cheap ones are notorious amongst fitters for leaking due to the barrel design. We use a factory for this camera that makes very high end cameras for some very expensive brands (selling 2-3 times our price), we've never had a leaked camera, and the only time we have seen a camera back has been user damage (crushed cable as they put it between the number plate light and tightened).

Some of the reasons to choose this camera are listed below :

Increases Reversing Safety - The most important reason, with almost a quarter of all accidents in the UK occurring during reversing. A clear, high-quality camera will help reduce the risk of harm to both people and property.

Great Image Quality - The factory who produce this camera have over 20 years of experience as a manufacturer. They even produce their own modules to get the best out of the image sensor. Expect a nice colourful image, and a very capable picture at night time when it gets very dark.

Extra Wide 150° Aspheric Lens Fitted - Going wide angle often means the image that is produced looks like you are inside a fishbowl looking out - not with this camera! A good quality aspheric lens is used to achieve an image that is much clearer and easier to use.

Amazing Build Quality and Reliability - This is on our leader board for reliability with an extremely low fault rate. The build quality is self-evident when you handle the camera.

IP69K Waterproof - An IP rating is the "Ingress Protection" rating of an item. IP69K is the highest protection level against water and dust. Guaranteed to keep itself protected against the worst weather the British Isles can throw at it.

Smart and Discreet Aesthetics - The number plate frame reverse camera is very discreet and looks tidy in appearance. The number plate slots in behind the top camera strip without covering the lettering. Check out our images to see the camera fitted to vehicles.

IR Night Vision - It's rare to see a number plate camera with night vision, but this is one of them. Thanks to the sensitive image sensor and the powerful IR LED's fitted you can stay safe from collisions even in dark conditions. The IR LED's and Glass Lens being separated from each other means you can expect nice deep contrasts at night. No worry of blinding following vehicles, unlike some cheaper cameras with plain white light LED's, as Infra Red light is below the visible spectrum of the human eye.

Adjustable Cylinder Camera - Releasing the two screws at the front of the camera will allow the cylindrical camera to rotate up/down to get the optimum angle. If you decide you would like the camera at the bottom of the number plate, you can achieve this by removing the two screws to the rear of the camera, flipping the camera upside down, and re-inserting in to the camera and re-inserting the two screws to secure.

Built In Microphone - This camera is fitted with a built in microphone. This means that you can listen to the external surroundings of the camera provided you have a monitor with a built in microphone.

Easy to Install to Vehicle - The number plate reversing camera is incredibly easy to fix to the rear of a vehicle. See our video below, or download our number plate reversing camera PDF fitting guide.

An RCA Phono conversion adaptor set can be added at a discounted price by selecting the check box on the listing next to the add to basket button. The set includes an adaptor to go from the 4 pin connector on the camera, to a yellow Phono RCA plug, a DC power socket, a DC power plug to red (+12V) and black (earth) wires, and a RCA Phono coupler (should you require an RCA socket instead of a plug). See images for more details.

Mainland UK Shipping

We have three postage options to select from during checkout (on larger items eg kits there will be two options):

Royal Mail Tracked - Smaller / Lighter weight orders. This will be sent via Royal Mails Tracked Service.  They will send emails/SMS to inform you of the tracking events. This option won't be shown for heavier weight orders.

DPD 2 Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive within two working days (if you place the order before 12:30PM).

DPD Next Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive the following working day (if you place the order before 12:30PM).

Highlands and Islands UK Shipping

We offer a 2-3 day service fulfilled with either Royal Mail Post, or Parcel Force. The prices charged are identical to mainland UK. Small orders will be sent via the post, larger orders via Parcel Force.

Outside of the UK Shipping

We shop around when selecting the best method for Europe (we avoid the cheap budget couriers due to parcels being lost). Southern Ireland is always sent via DPD. Other countries will usually be either Parcel Force, UPS, or Fedex. Please note that we require a phone number for international deliveries. Also if you are a company in Europe, a VAT number or EORI number will help speed up customs.

We remove the UK VAT (Tax) when any country other than the UK is selected in the shopping basket or checkout. From this point all prices on the site drop down to exclude VAT. If you are from the Channel Islands, please select Jersey / Guernsey from the country list in order to remove UK sales Tax.

60 day "Change of Mind" policy

We understand that for whatever reason you may need to return your purchase.  We provide a 60 day opportunity for you to do just that.  Simply give us an email or a phone call to let us know it is due back.  You are responsible for the shipping back to us but you will receive a full refund including the original shipping we charged you for your order.  We recommend getting a signed for or proof of postage when posting back to us.

All we ask is that you return the items in the condition they were sent in, with the packaging present.  You are welcome to have temporarily tested the product and unravelled things, but if you have cut wires, soldered, glued, installed and used for a while then this wouldn't be suitable for returns under the change of mind policy.
