CC-47/RV77, RV66... Swift Single Reversing Camera Replacement Adaptor | Adaptor-G (Read Listing)
For more than a decade we have supported the replacement of parts that fail on the Swift, Bessacarr, Autotrail motorhome reversing camera systems originally produced by Sargent Electrical. This listing is for the adaptor cables required to add 4 pin reversing cameras to the original 6 pin PS/2 Cables that were fitted with SINGLE CAMERAS (not the twin unit).
Warning
This type of connector has been used by lots of different brands, all of them wired up differently to each other. In fact for Swift, Bessacarr, Autotrail Motorhomes we have 3 adaptors, all of them wired up differently to each other. Do not look at the connector and just try in hope. We have half a dozen PS/2 connectors, none of them will work on systems other than the one they are designed for. You may cause damage to your system or the new camera if you just "try and see". If you are in doubt contact us
6 Pin Reversing Camera Adaptor Lead to Replace Failed Single Reversing Cameras on Swift, Bessacarr, and Autotrail Motorhomes
For over a decade, we have supported the replacement of parts that fail on the Swift, Bessacarr, and Autotrail reversing camera systems produced initially by Sargent Electrical. This listing is for the adaptor cables required to add four pin reversing cameras to the original six pin PS/2 Cables fitted with SINGLE cameras. This will not work on the twin camera systems, if you require these please see our twin Swift, Autotrail, Bessacarr, and Autotrail reversing camera adaptors.
What type of reversing cameras will this adaptor help replace?
RV47 / CC-47 Reversing Camera
RV66 Reversing Camera
As well as many more. Send us photos if you would like advice on replacement.
Fitting Instructions
- Most often the reverse camera will be fitted behind a plastic moulded covering such as the images above. This will need to be carefully removed first. Warning, sometimes this cover may break as you are taking it off as it has a lot of sealant/adhesive applied. You may need to source a replacement panel from the dealership prior to undertaking replacement, although some people choose not to replace this if it does break.
- Remove the original camera from the vehicle, disconnecting it from the 6 pin socket. If there is an orange lead coming from the vehicle to the camera, this is a reverse light supply (keep away from touching anything for now). You might find an orange tail on the camera that isn't connected to anything, this again is normal. Most cameras had the tail, but not all vehicles required it at the rear.
- Fit a new replacement reversing camera of your choice with the 4 pin aviation connector.
- Attach this reversing camera adaptor cable to the 4 pin screw connector on your new reverse camera. Then insert the other end (6 pin PS/2) in to the original extension lead on the motorhome.
- If your old camera had a reverse feed lead (usually orange) running to a tail coming from the camera you will need to attach this to the tail coming off Adaptor-G. You will need to use solder/crimp/wago/connector block or similar to achieve this. If your old camera did not connect to anything, do not connect the Adaptor-G tail to anything! Make sure you place insulation tape over the end of the tail as this may become live when you select reverse.

Mainland UK Shipping
We have three postage options to select from during checkout (on larger items eg kits there will be two options):
Royal Mail Tracked - Smaller / Lighter weight orders. This will be sent via Royal Mails Tracked Service. They will send emails/SMS to inform you of the tracking events. This option won't be shown for heavier weight orders.
DPD 2 Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive within two working days (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
DPD Next Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive the following working day (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
Highlands and Islands UK Shipping
We offer a 2-3 day service fulfilled with either Royal Mail Post, or Parcel Force. The prices charged are identical to mainland UK. Small orders will be sent via the post, larger orders via Parcel Force.
Outside of the UK Shipping
We shop around when selecting the best method for Europe (we avoid the cheap budget couriers due to parcels being lost). Southern Ireland is always sent via DPD. Other countries will usually be either Parcel Force, UPS, or Fedex. Please note that we require a phone number for international deliveries. Also if you are a company in Europe, a VAT number or EORI number will help speed up customs.
We remove the UK VAT (Tax) when any country other than the UK is selected in the shopping basket or checkout. From this point all prices on the site drop down to exclude VAT. If you are from the Channel Islands, please select Jersey / Guernsey from the country list in order to remove UK sales Tax.
60 day "Change of Mind" policy
We understand that for whatever reason you may need to return your purchase. We provide a 60 day opportunity for you to do just that. Simply give us an email or a phone call to let us know it is due back. You are responsible for the shipping back to us but you will receive a full refund including the original shipping we charged you for your order. We recommend getting a signed for or proof of postage when posting back to us.
All we ask is that you return the items in the condition they were sent in, with the packaging present. You are welcome to have temporarily tested the product and unravelled things, but if you have cut wires, soldered, glued, installed and used for a while then this wouldn't be suitable for returns under the change of mind policy.
