About Our Wireless Number Plate Reverse Camera Kit with 7" Mirror Monitor
Number plate wireless reverse camera kit with extra wide angle 150-degree field of view, night vision, premium quality camera and 7" mirror monitor, static-free and reliable digital wireless technology, 2-year guarantee, fast delivery, and lifetime support. This kit comes with the following advantages :
Increases Reversing Safety - The most important reason, with almost a quarter of all accidents in the UK occurring during reversing. A clear, high-quality camera will help reduce the risk of harm to both people and property.
Great Image Quality - The factory who produce this camera have over 20 years of experience as a manufacturer. They even produce their own modules to get the best out of the image sensor. Expect a nice colourful image, and a very capable picture at night time when it gets very dark.
60M Range - Customers are always surprised by the range of this wireless reversing camera system. Some customers who have caravans/trailers have driven away from the camera and mentioned how far they could drive before they lose signal with each other. The general consensus with wireless cameras is to look for range that is double the distance between camera/monitor i.e. if you have a 8M Caravan and a 5M car, you would want a minimum of 26M range wireless. We used to supply 40M range systems in the past, and this was ample for everyone, so the 60M sets are absolutely no worries.
No Static / Secure Connection - Being digital, this wireless system operates like a Wifi network - encrypting information and securely linking together. No picking up horsebox/home CCTV whilst driving. Because the two parts are paired together, the system knows what it can ignore, meaning the system does not suffer from snowy static interference of the older analogue wireless.
Extra Wide 150° Aspheric Lens Fitted - Going wide angle often means the image that is produced looks like you are inside a fishbowl looking out - not with this camera! A good quality aspheric lens is used to achieve an image that is much clearer and easier to use.
Amazing Build Quality and Reliability - This is on our leader board for reliability with an extremely low fault rate. The build quality is self-evident when you handle the camera.
Two Year Guarantee - We guarantee all parts of your new wireless reversing camera system will be free from factory defects for a period of 2 Years. We endeavour to support your purchase beyond this with spare parts where available.
IP69K Waterproof - An IP rating is the "Ingress Protection" rating of an item. IP69K is the highest protection level against water and dust. Guaranteed to keep itself protected against the worst weather the British Isles can throw at it.
IR Night Vision - It's rare to see a number plate camera with night vision, but this is one of them. Thanks to the sensitive image sensor and the powerful IR LED's fitted you can stay safe from collisions even in dark conditions. The IR LED's and Glass Lens being separated from each other means you can expect nice deep contrasts at night. No worry of blinding following vehicles, unlike some cheaper cameras with plain white light LED's, as Infra Red light is below the visible spectrum of the human eye.
Adjustable Cylinder Camera - Releasing the two screws at the front of the camera will allow the cylindrical camera to rotate up/down to get the optimum angle. Whether you decide you would like the camera against a vertical surface, or whether you would like the camera on a horizontal surface e.g. on a lip above the number plate you can swap between the two by removing the two screws to the rear of the camera, flipping the camera upside down, and re-inserting in to the camera and re-inserting the two screws to secure.
Most Popular Location for Fitting a Monitor - The position of the interior mirror is where we naturally look when we wish to see what is behind us.
Clips over existing interior mirror - This mirror monitor is fitted with two strong spring loaded clamps on the rear. There are two fixed brackets at the top-rear, whilst two lower brackets that pull down are underneath these. To fix the monitor simply pull the two lower spring brackets until you have enough clearance for them to get past your existing interior mirror, hold the monitor against the mirror, then let go of the two lower brackets so that they clamp to the existing mirror. See our video below to see us place one on to a mirror.
Digital Wireless - Interference Free
Wireless cameras used to have an awful reputation in the past, for good reason too. In Europe analogue wireless was restricted to just 10mW transmitting power due to the "dirty" signal from analogue, this level of power struggled at even a cars length, then you had interference. With the digital wireless technology used in this kit you now have 100mW transmitting power, the sender/receiver syncs together and encrypts the signal between each other. You won't see anything other than the camera you are paired up with. With the new technology we just never find that range is a problem anymore.
Should you use wireless?
Caravans, articulated lorries, horsebox trailers, and other trailers are prime candidates for wireless camera systems as it solves the problem of getting the signal between the two sections. We don't recommend using wireless on modern cars/vans due to the sensitive CANBUS electrics on the rear lights, which most likely will cut power when they detect the unusual draw of power from the sender (you can get around this with relays but that negates the selling point of ease of install). For cars/modern vans we recommend our cabled systems which provide power from the monitor instead of the rear lights.
PDF Instructions
We aim to provide as much information as possible to assist with both the installation and use of our equipment (something we here is very rare nowadays). If you require any further assistance with any aspect of the fitment then please contact us. Also, if you feel anything could be added to our instructions or a sticker produced for the box to assist in guidance, please let us know. We get better with your assistance.

Mainland UK Shipping
We have three postage options to select from during checkout (on larger items eg kits there will be two options):
Royal Mail Tracked - Smaller / Lighter weight orders. This will be sent via Royal Mails Tracked Service. They will send emails/SMS to inform you of the tracking events. This option won't be shown for heavier weight orders.
DPD 2 Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive within two working days (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
DPD Next Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive the following working day (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
Highlands and Islands UK Shipping
We offer a 2-3 day service fulfilled with either Royal Mail Post, or Parcel Force. The prices charged are identical to mainland UK. Small orders will be sent via the post, larger orders via Parcel Force.
Outside of the UK Shipping
We shop around when selecting the best method for Europe (we avoid the cheap budget couriers due to parcels being lost). Southern Ireland is always sent via DPD. Other countries will usually be either Parcel Force, UPS, or Fedex. Please note that we require a phone number for international deliveries. Also if you are a company in Europe, a VAT number or EORI number will help speed up customs.
We remove the UK VAT (Tax) when any country other than the UK is selected in the shopping basket or checkout. From this point all prices on the site drop down to exclude VAT. If you are from the Channel Islands, please select Jersey / Guernsey from the country list in order to remove UK sales Tax.
60 day "Change of Mind" policy
We understand that for whatever reason you may need to return your purchase. We provide a 60 day opportunity for you to do just that. Simply give us an email or a phone call to let us know it is due back. You are responsible for the shipping back to us but you will receive a full refund including the original shipping we charged you for your order. We recommend getting a signed for or proof of postage when posting back to us.
All we ask is that you return the items in the condition they were sent in, with the packaging present. You are welcome to have temporarily tested the product and unravelled things, but if you have cut wires, soldered, glued, installed and used for a while then this wouldn't be suitable for returns under the change of mind policy.
