Most vehicle monitors and stereo systems only support traditional CVBS signal reversing cameras. Plugging a 1080P AHD signal camera into a traditional monitor will result in no image being displayed. Our 1080P AHD Diamond Shape Reverse Camera has a sleek, curvy design that looks great on the back of any vehicle. Produced by the same factory that makes our highly respected brake light cameras. This camera is fitted with a great high definition 2399 image sensor and quality all-glass composite lens. Adjustable ball design, with external IR LED's for great night vision.
Wide Viewing Angle - This camera is fitted with a very high quality 95 degrees field of view all glass composite lens to give a good overview of the rear of your vehicle.
Adjustable Ball Camera - This camera is held in by friction, with the ball camera able to rotate, as well as pivot left/right/up/down to help you get the angle desired. It is worth mentioning that the camera can point backwards, but it cannot be adjusted enough up so that the entire road is visible. See our screenshot image in the gallery to see the image from maximum up adjustment on a vertical surface (our front door).

1080P AHD High Definition Image - Fitted with a top specification 2399 1080P AHD image sensor, this camera will output a 1920*1080P high definition image. Please ensure you understand that this only works with AHD monitors - do not order this version if you are using a standard stereo head unit/monitor otherwise there will be no image shown.
High Dynamic Range Image - The high quality image sensor installed (the part that captures the image detail) is great at dealing with light and dark areas in the image at the same time.
Brilliant Vivid Colours - In the day time this reversing camera will give you lovely, bright, vivid images. At night the camera will be in black and white night vision mode.

AHD Reversing Camera Compatibility Info
AHD signal is a relatively new technology and as such is still relatively rare to find in use. Most reversing camera systems fitted to vehicles use CVBS (composite video signal), which has limitations in the definition that you can achieve. AHD (Analogue High Definition) allows you to achieve full HD 1080P definition image quality.
This recent technology uses advanced digital signal processing and analogue modulation to send high-definition video signals down traditional analogue coax-based cables. This means you can usually use your old 4-pin cabling to carry the new AHD signal without having to rewire from front to back.
Important things to consider:
- The device on which you wish to use your new camera MUST be capable of displaying the input from a 1080P AHD camera. You will see no image if you attempt to use this on any other device.
- Some AHD displays can only handle 720P inputs; again, if that is the case, no image will be displayed.
- Some AHD monitors and MDVRs require all cameras to be in the same format, e.g., 1080P or PAL. All of our AHD cameras are 1080P PAL (PAL is the European standard). So rest assured that if you are using one of our AHD monitors and wish to add an extra camera, you will not have any issues when choosing another camera.
- We DO NOT recommend AHD for use with cabled trailer links. Anyone with a trailer would be better off using our standard definition range of cameras (we have a lovely selection of high-resolution cameras that push the limits of the traditional CVBS signal to the max).

Mainland UK Shipping
We have three postage options to select from during checkout (on larger items eg kits there will be two options):
Royal Mail Tracked - Smaller / Lighter weight orders. This will be sent via Royal Mails Tracked Service. They will send emails/SMS to inform you of the tracking events. This option won't be shown for heavier weight orders.
DPD 2 Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive within two working days (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
DPD Next Day. Small or large orders. This will be sent with DPD Local and should arrive the following working day (if you place the order before 12:30PM).
Highlands and Islands UK Shipping
We offer a 2-3 day service fulfilled with either Royal Mail Post, or Parcel Force. The prices charged are identical to mainland UK. Small orders will be sent via the post, larger orders via Parcel Force.
Outside of the UK Shipping
We shop around when selecting the best method for Europe (we avoid the cheap budget couriers due to parcels being lost). Southern Ireland is always sent via DPD. Other countries will usually be either Parcel Force, UPS, or Fedex. Please note that we require a phone number for international deliveries. Also if you are a company in Europe, a VAT number or EORI number will help speed up customs.
We remove the UK VAT (Tax) when any country other than the UK is selected in the shopping basket or checkout. From this point all prices on the site drop down to exclude VAT. If you are from the Channel Islands, please select Jersey / Guernsey from the country list in order to remove UK sales Tax.
60 day "Change of Mind" policy
We understand that for whatever reason you may need to return your purchase. We provide a 60 day opportunity for you to do just that. Simply give us an email or a phone call to let us know it is due back. You are responsible for the shipping back to us but you will receive a full refund including the original shipping we charged you for your order. We recommend getting a signed for or proof of postage when posting back to us.
All we ask is that you return the items in the condition they were sent in, with the packaging present. You are welcome to have temporarily tested the product and unravelled things, but if you have cut wires, soldered, glued, installed and used for a while then this wouldn't be suitable for returns under the change of mind policy.
